After the ending of NYFW, we’ve been inspired! We’ve found some of our favorite fashion looks, both couture and street-style, and compared them to some of our favorite interior designs, showing that beauty is not only translatable, but universal.

Designers find inspiration everywhere, and more often than not, it is other designers’ work that moves us, and pushes us to greater heights of creativity. Lately, there is one designer who has wowed me beyond words – Jessie D. Miller. Her makeover for the One Room Challenge in 2014 was absolutely stunning; her bold use of color, her great selection of art, everything epitomized fearlessness. Her own blog is aptly named Design Daredevil because she is daring and devilishly good at what she does.

The Oscars this year was filled with Hollywood’s best and brightest stars, dressed in their absolute best fashions. It was truly amazing! Many actresses showed up looking jaw-droppingly beautiful – here were some of our favs!
Chrissy Teigen showed up and stunned in this beautifully detailed, sleek and sexy gown by Zuhair Murad. She and Jennifer Lopez, who undoubtedly wore the most glamorous gown by Elie Saab, were at the top of our Best Dressed List for the evening.
